FAQ’s

Will I receive ALL of the photos?
You will receive every image we take minus test shots and duplicates. It works out to about 175 images/hr. You should never feel like there is anything missing. The images are delivered via an online gallery.

Am I allowed to print my photos?
Yes, you full permission to print the photos at any lab of your choice! We also offer and highly recommend printing from our online gallery! The quality is exceptional, the pricing is reasonable and the order is delivered in a week!

Do we need a 2nd Photographer/Videographer?
Having a 2nd shooter is beneficial for several reasons 1. Capturing parts of the day when the 1st shooter has other obligations. For example, capturing the groomsmen before the ceremony, ceremony details, cocktail hour, reception details 2. Capturing alternate angles of key moments like the bride coming down the aisle from the back side or guest reactions throughout the day. Its a good safety net with so much going on in the day! That being said we understand that every wedding is different and appreciate our clients budgets and will do an awesome job with 1 shooter if needed!!

What does retouching mean?
Retouching is the final step to our image processing! It includes blemish removal, teeth whitening, skin smoothing, slimming etc. Our goal is for it to look true to life and not fake! Retouching is applied to all of the images you receive for your sneak peek within 1 week of your wedding. You also get to chose your favorite 50 photos for retouching once you receive the rest of your gallery. Retouching is recommended for photos that you plan on displaying either on your walls, in a book, or social media.

Is there any treatment to the rest of my images?
Every single image that you receive from your wedding will be edited to have the same look and feel as the photos you see on our site. That includes color & contrast adjustments as well as cropping & straightening. Since my clients receive all of their high resolution images, most have been electing to order/design their own albums. These days there are so many high quality options online that are super user-friendly and cost-effective. Even Shutterfly now offers professional quality photo albums. Do you offer albums?
No, we’re saving our clients time and money and sticking to what we’re best at. Which is creating beautiful imagery!

In the past, photographers would keep the print rights and professional album services were only available to photographers. The client would chose their favorite photos and the photographer would create the album. This would usually take a number of attempts before the clients we’re happy with the layout. Albums were very expensive and rightly so for all the time that went into creating them. Times have changed in favor of the client. Today there are many awesome album services online, even Shutterfly offers really nice wedding albums. They are super easy to use (drag and drop) and drastically less expensive than going through a photographer. You are cutting out the middle man to save you time and money.

Should we provide you with a family photo list?
Family photo lists come in handy if you have a large group. It is also a good idea give that list to a friend or family member who knows everyone to help direct traffic. It can be kind of tricky for a photographer to follow a list and call out people they don’t know and take photos at the same time. And would be wasting precious time. and the 2nd photographer will be photographing the cocktail hour and details at that point. If its a smaller group of immediate family then no list is needed as we are familiar with the common groupings!!

Should we provide you with a shot list?
We do our best work when we have creative freedom! We use our environment and your personalities to create unique shots of your wedding. We also know and can anticipate all of the important moments of a wedding day. That being said if there is a unique shot that you were looking for (ex. a generation photo or a photo with your dog) or something unusual taking place (ex. surprise performance) Then please let us know!

Can we add coverage time leading up to the wedding?
Yes you can add time at any point leading up to the wedding. Even on the night of your wedding if you want us to stay longer. The price will be same as it would have been at the time of booking.

Do you do posed and candid photos?
Yes we do both! Most photos start off with a pose and we encourage you to move and make it your own. Either have fun with each other or be romantic. We have many cues to help you losen up and also provide needed direction. The goal is to believe what you see in the photo!!
